Northern Hills Synagogue-Congregation B’nai Avraham is a special community: its mission is to become and remain the most innovative, spiritually relevant, and welcoming synagogue to all age groups seeking a Conservative Jewish congregation in northeast Cincinnati.
We are an extended family where people of all ages are welcome and encouraged to become actively involved -- as participants and as leaders -- in our services, programs, planning, and leadership. Northern Hills Synagogue is a place for prayer and religious education. It is a place for Jewish children to meet and be with other Jewish children.
We want to offer our community an opportunity to learn more about our religion, history, and culture, and a chance to meet and socialize with other Jewish people. We want our synagogue and its community to be a focal point in the lives of our families. Our synagogue seeks to fulfill our members’ personal, spiritual, cultural, educational and social needs in the warm, intimate and informal environment of a smaller congregation.
Our members and friends devote their time and their financial resources to making this vision a reality. We know time is a scarce commodity. How can provide Northern Hills Synagogue the financial resources it will need for the future? How can you create a legacy to continue your financial support to Northern Hills Synagogue preserve our congregation’s vision?
Legacy planning provides that opportunity. We wish to create an endowment, funded by our member’s legacy gifts, that can provide a perpetual source of income to our Congregation.
Planned giving can include:
- Bequests in wills and trusts
- Designating Northern Hills Synagogue as a beneficiary of insurance policies or individual retirement arrangements
- Trusts that provide income to the member (or a relative of a member) for a period and then pass to Northern Hills Synagogue
