On Sunday, May 3, 2015, NHS Sisterhood members enjoyed a lunch buffet and concert of Klezmer music, followed by a short Sisterhood business meeting. The new group, Queen City Klezmorim, entertained everyone with a variety of Klezmer and Jewish songs of eastern European and American origin.
Queen City Klezmer members include NHS members Gayna Bassin (violin), Jaime Kaufman (trumpet), Claire Lee (Piano) and Neil Zimmerman (clarinet), as well as Hirsh Cohen (tuba) and Chris Novy (drums).
