This program will be presented by Marci Kearley, a member of Northern Hills who also volunteers with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).

Marci will touch on the stigma surrounding mental illness and discuss how mental illness is actually a physical illness of the brain. She'll share some statistics surrounding mental illness as well as major and common mental illnesses. Will tell about NAMI and their Support Groups.

The second part will be her story "Living With BiPolar Disorder" and Marci will discuss what is helpful and what is not when trying to help someone with a mental illness.
