Join members of Northern Hills Synagogue and volunteer with the Interfaith Hospitality Network on August 10, 2017! We need ten volunteers to completely staff this evening at Adath Israel.

Time slots:

Dinner Hosts:

3:30 PM to 5:30 PM
Evening Hosts:

5:15 PM to 8:30 PM
Activity Hosts:

6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Overnight Hosts:

8:30 PM to 7:00 AM

Dinner Hosts
2-3

Usually start cooking around 3:30 PM, dinner has to be ready by 5:30 when the guests arrive to the congregation, they cook, serve and clean up. All paper supplies will be in the kitchen so don't worry about that. Dinner preparation must be supervised by an Adath Israel Mashgiach unless we use the Sagel Kitchen (Dairy) or order in from Kinneret Cafe or Amma's Kitchen. (Eat with Our Guests!)

Evening Hosts
2-3

5:15 PM - 8:30 PM (Entertain our Guests!) You eat with the families, interact with them, and help them pack lunches.

Activity Hosts
2 or More

6:00 PM - 9:00 PM (Play with Cute Kids!) We are in need of two people, at least one adult and a child of 10 and older. A family can do this. Activities are planned, but you carry out these activities and play with the kids and interact with the families.

Overnight Hosts
2 or More (Must be 18+)

8:30 PM - 7:00 AM You interact with families until 10:00 PM. This is when quiet time begins. You sleep at the synagogue and help with breakfast the next morning.
