In this entertaining 2004 documentary, our friends and fellow congregants tell the history of Northern Hills Synagogue, from its founding in 1960 to its flourishing in 2004. Reflections and touching anecdotes convey the personality of this religious community and the specialness, and yet universality, of one congregation's experiences. In April 2007, From Our Lips was nominated for two Blue Chip Cable Access Awards. The Public Library of Cincinnati purchased several DVD copies, available to check out from their video collection.
"From Our Lips" was produced and directed by NHS members Dr. Cynthia Dember and edited by Gayna Bassin. William Freedman was the narrator, and the videographers were Margaret Ackerman and Gayna Bassin.
