This year we will have congregational dinners exploring a variety of Jewish ethnic traditions--Egyptian, Moroccan, Israeli and Greek--every other month. In the other months, on the third Fridays, we will host a variety of speakers and provide educational opportunities to engage the congregation. Please watch the bulletin, check your email, and listen to announcements at services for details. |

NEXTBOOK: A New Read on Jewish Culture We are very excited to present you with the latest and greatest in Jewish literature. The series NEXTBOOK is a great opportunity for the congregation to read a book together and have a series of discussions and speakers on the topic. This year's selection is called The Jewish Body by Melvin Konner. This book explores rituals associated with the body, as well as topics like Jewish DNA, the nose job, and the relationship between the Jewish concept of the physical body and the Jewish belief in a bodiless God.
