YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS
Combined Scholarship Application Our community is fortunate in providing many opportunities to young people to participate in the enriching experiences of Jewish summer camps and programs in Israel. The Jewish Foundation of Cincinnati will give $5,000 to high school students and other young adults for approved Israel programs. Applications for these grants may be downloaded here: http://www.jewishcincinnati.org/page.aspx?id=203921 Through the generosity of several private donors, young people from Cincinnati who attend Jewish overnight camp for the first time may receive grants of up to $1,000. The application for these grants may be downloaded here: http://www.jewishcincinnati.org/camping.aspx The Leonard J. Singerman Scholarship Fund of Northern Hills Synagogue makes grants to young people from the synagogue who attend approved Jewish summer camps or participate in approved Israel programs. The application for Singerman Scholarships may be downloaded here. This Combined Scholarship Form covers both the Singerman Fund and the synagogue’s Youth Scholarship Fund, which helps young people participate in regional or national Kadima or USY events. Remember that each of these opportunities has its own criteria of eligibility and its own application procedures.
