Mitzvah Day at Cedar Village

December 25, 2012

The Hebrew word "Mitzvah" means "commandment" or a moral deed performed as a religious duty. As such, it has come to mean an act of human kindness or tikun olam, repairing the world. In that spirit, Northern Hills Synagogue members and their families volunteered at Cedar Village on December 25th so that the staff could celebrate Christmas with their families.
