In Memory of Beverly & Leon Lichtin

A ceremony for the unveiling of the headstone for Beverly and Leon Lichtin took place at 12 noon at the NHS Cemetery at 5375 Sidney Road. At 1:30 pm, there was a concert in memory of the Lichtins at Northern Hills Synagogue that featured three compositions by Leon Lichtin. A buffet lunch was enjoyed by all attending.

Ben Lichtin, one of Beverly and Leon Lichtin's sons, welcomed everyone to the concert.

Ben Lichtin introduced the string quartet that played "JuChriLam", a three-movement composition by Leon Lichtin, first performed on November 10, 1996 at NHS for "Jerusalem 3000".

Alan Lichtin, the Lichtins' other son, spoke.

Everyone was invited to a lunch buffet after the concert.
