This root has many meanings and shows up frequently in both scriptural context and modern hebrew vernacular. The uses and context reveal various meanings and we will extract an essence of meaning out of all of them. The root of the week is used in military terminology, banking and politics. . . must be important.

Hebrew in Depth will focus on the intricacies and subtleties of the Hebrew language focusing on associative words and phrases. The seminar-style course's goal will be to refine a set of tools for those interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the Hebrew language. The exercises we will undertake will open a door to meanings and perhaps a deeper understanding of the texts of our tradition.
