NHS Hazak was proud to present a concert featuring the multi-talented Sara Zober, who has been our Rabbinic intern, in a delightful concert of Jewish and popular music. Claire Lee, NHS choral director and pianist, accompanied her in several beautiful medleys.

Sara Zober was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is a graduate of Walnut Hills High School. She graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2006 with a B.A. in Music and Religious Studies (East Asian Religions). Sara currently attends the Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion, and will graduate with her Master of Arts in Hebrew Language (M.A.H.L.) in the spring.

Claire Lee is a graduate of UC's College-Conservatory of Music with a Master of Music degree in Piano Accompanying. She is a free-lance accompanist and entertainer and accompanies the Broadway series of student concerts at Hebrew Union College, where for many years she was the organist. Claire plays flute in the UC Community Summer Band and the New Horizons Band, and keyboards for the New Horizons Dixieland Band and the Queen City Klezmorim. At Northern Hills Synagogue, she directs the High Holiday choir and is a member of the Kabbalat Shabbat instrumental ensemble.
