"Tonight we are in the company of several of Cincinnati's most accomplished, cultured, and pre-eminent citizens as they are about to launch a new literary society.  They have decided to name this group simply "The Board" giving no hint of the special nature of their purpose or the criteria determining who has been invited to be a member. Little do they know that their unique concept of assembling once a month to enjoy one another's fellowship and attain greater wisdom in an entertaining environment will be in existence for another 100 years.   The year is 1912 and we are at the recently built Losantiville Country Club located in the newly annexed suburb of Pleasant Ridge, Ohio and… YOU Are There!"
